When you create an account or otherwise use the Services, we collect information such as your name and email address (“Personal Contact Information”).
We use third-party payment providers to process payments on the Services. We may receive information associated with your payment information, such as billing address and transaction information (“Billing Information”), but we do not directly store payment information on the Services.
As you use our Services, FinTwit may also collect information through the use of frequently used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons (“Website Navigational Information”). Website Navigational Information includes standard information from your web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on FinTwit’s website (such as web pages viewed and links clicked).
We may use third parties, such as GoogleAnalytics or other analytics providers, to analyze traffic to our Site. They have their own privacy policies addressing how they use the analytics and other information and we do not have access to, nor control over, third parties’ use of cookies or other tracking technologies.
FinTwit uses Google Gemini, a third-party artificial intelligence service from Google, to power features such as AI stock analysis, portfolio and watchlist recommendations, stock ratings, AI top picks, and AI chat.
We do not share your personally identifying information with Google Gemini. The data we send is limited to anonymized inputs required to produce the requested output — for example, stock tickers, share counts, cost basis, publicly available market data, and the text of the questions you ask in AI chat. We do not transmit your name, email address, user ID, phone number, physical address, IP address, payment details, subscription status, or account identifiers alongside any AI request. Google Gemini cannot identify you as an individual from the data we share.
Google Gemini processes this data under Google's own privacy and data-handling policies, which provide protections substantially similar to those described in this Privacy Policy. Under our API agreement with Google, the data we submit is not used to train Google's general-purpose models.
FinTwit does not sell, rent, or trade your private information to any third parties in any way.
FinTwit may use certain trusted third party companies and individuals to help us provide, analyze, and improve the Services (including, but not limited to, data storage, maintenance services, database management, web analytics, payment processing, and improvement of the Services’ features)
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, purchase or sale of assets, or transition of service to another provider, then your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction, as permitted by law and/or contract.
