US Treasury Yields

Live US Treasury yield curve and historical rates.

Treasury yields are the interest rate the US government pays to borrow at a given maturity, and they set the floor for mortgage rates, corporate borrowing costs, and savings-account yields across the economy. The 2-year yield tracks Fed policy expectations; the 10-year is the reference rate for mortgages; and when the 2-year yield rises above the 10-year (an "inverted" curve), it has historically preceded recessions. This page tracks the full curve and the 2s/10s spread over time.
